Top buyers in the first half of 2025 included financial acquirers Visma and BRITech, and strategic buyers WiseTech Global, iFood, and Tiendanube. Visma and iFood completed 3 deals each while WiseTech Global, BRITech and Tiendanube completed 2 deals each.

As transaction values were disclosed in only 11% of M&A deals that occurred in the first six months of 2025, buyers continued to prefer to keep their M&A strategies private. Total disclosed deal value reached $3.5B.

Tech M&A Activity in Latin America was robust with 120 deals seen during the first half of 2025, on pace to exceed 2024 levels. Strategic and financial buyers were active with PE firms being the acquirer in 20% of these transactions.
