Over 60% of the sellers in the LATAM Tech space were from Brazil. Argentina and Chile came in second place with 9% of deals each, followed by Mexico and Colombia were each home to 5% of sellers. Other noteworthy countries include Uruguay, Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador. 

As for the buyers, the Brazil was home to 39% percent of acquisitions, followed by the U.S. with 24% and Canada at 11%. Companies based in the UK, Germany and Israel each represented the buyer in 4% of the total transactions. Other noteworthy countries including France, Spain, Mexico and Chile. 55% of buyers were located outside of the LATAM region.
